SUMMARY:
Racing against time to save Carrie's and Kusac's lives, Kaid is certain his people will be destroyed when his ship is ensnared in a Valtegan trap, but a huge ship arrives out of nowhere and takes both Kaid's ship and the Valtegan vessel hostage, causing Kaid to wonder if they are trapped by a foe even more brutal than the Valtegans.
